Dentist · Co-owner of Bowker Creek Dental
Dr. Keely’s journey into dentistry began early — at just 12 years old, she assisted her father, Dr. Kirk Matheson, during emergency dental appointments. That early experience inspired a lifelong passion for caring for patients.
She graduated at the top of her class from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2015, ranking first for all four years and delivering the valedictorian address. It was at BU that she met Dr. Jessica Metcalfe — with whom she later purchased Bowker Creek Dental from her father.
While in dental school, Dr. Keely helped start the Health & Wellness Committee alongside Dr. Jessica, creating a program to support classmates’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being. She also participated in an externship in China, observing how dentistry is practised overseas, and completed a volunteer dental program abroad — reinforcing her dedication to improving oral health access in underserved communities.
Dr. Keely believes that continuing education is vital for every dentist. She has advanced her expertise through the Kois Center’s techniques and philosophy, bringing the latest evidence-based dentistry to Bowker Creek — and ensuring her patients benefit from the highest standards of care.
At Bowker Creek Dental, Dr. Keely helps foster a culture rooted in communication, teamwork, professionalism, and a healthy balance of fun and playfulness. Patients often describe her as both highly skilled and deeply empathetic — calm on the tough days, easy company on the easy ones.
